I loved me some comics when I was a kid, but I was always more of an X-Men kid fan than a Hulk fan. Sure, his story was interesting and all, but I just never really got into it that much. So needless to say, I’ve never heard of a Red Hulk. Apparently this is a new addition to the Marvel universe, one that will be making it’s video game debut on a GameStop-exclusive version of the new Incredible Hulk game on the 360.

One of the biggest questions here is whether or not the Red Hulk we play in the game will actually be the Red Hulk from the latest comics. I haven’t read them myself, but what I do know is that this guy isn’t the green Hulk gone bad, so just switching out the colors wouldn’t do the character justice.

The other big question is whether anyone at Sega, Microsoft or GameStop saw the irony of putting an exclusive red Hulk on the 360.  By all means, let the “Red Hulk of Death” jokes begin.
