Yeah and then after you pay $116 they will still charge you $10 for extra maps, $5 for extra guns, $15 for extra game modes that should of been include to begin with. If they want the game industry to be what it was like 10 years ago, maybe they should start giving us what they gave us 10 years ago.

I think you can read it in two ways: either the games industry continues to push for blockbuster-style titles in the manner it has done to-date, at which point it will also need to re-educate gamers to accept £70 titles, or the games industry recognises that gamers won’t pass a certain “psychological ceiling” and, as such, will have to change their development style so as to reduce the cost of game creation.

Either way, something has to change – it’s either developers or gamers.

Am I reading this wrong?

Aren’t they saying we need to be weaned TO the £70 point, and away from the £30-40 range?
