Palm pulled this off perfectly two years ago. Inductive charger with a replaceable battery back. I still use the Touchstone charger on my desk and car dashboard. Not sure why this fairly straightforward technology is difficult for Samsung. Maybe they should just license it from HP….

In time for the Carrier butchered North American Galaxy S3 variants. The US Cellular 4.3″ Galaxy “Attain”, ATT Galaxy “Space Rocket”, Sprint Galaxy 4.4″ all will neee a universally sized charger. Samsung doesn’t know how much grovelling it heeds to do for the carriers on exclusive sized and shaped versions of the Galaxy phone until they worked it out with them. Until then the contactless charging pad must wait….
