Try closing on the running apps by holding the home button and hitting the trashcan if you have 4.1 already. Freeing up some RAM should stop the crashing unless a delinquent app has helped up you phone.

Slso if you have your email, facebook, Twitter, and contacts, etc. Syncing constantly (especially when not on Wi-Fi), then it will drain the battery.

Carriers don’t care. They have the contract and the sale. They are not obligated to update their customers’s phones. Apple, to its credit, has removed this level of control from the Carriers. AT&T does not play favorites for iPhone uses. Apple controls the firmware and OS updates for all of its devices across all carriers, which is why updates on all iPhone variants happen simultaneously.

I just cant wait to update my GSIII to Jelly Bean 4.1.2, the last upgrade sucks!
My battery drains so quickly and it takes almost entire day to have a Full Charge, frequent App crashes, delays etc…
My Smart phone has become a ‘Fart phone’ for now, hope this update fix everything

….But I just got the 4.1 update to my AT&T GSIII 2 das ago! This proves that AT&T plays favorites to the iPhone when it comes to update schedule. I’m pretty sure someone could get away with suing them over it, especially since the airwaves it uses to run it’s network are technically owned by the people. Colluding to intentionally damage a specific brand maybe?
