I question whether anyone from Samsung actually meant this in the way you say. There are suddenly hundreds of stories on the internet saying it is meant for women. But that just does not make sense. Perhaps someone from Samsung is trying not to make the ladies feel left out. Come on!!! It is too big to fit in the hands of a small man, let alone woman. It’s specs are high performance state of the art. Not usually what women go for. Not that a discerning woman would not like it, but most women see my HD2 and say it’s too big for them and it’s only 4.3″. This device is generating a huge amount of interest accross the internet and might exceed SG II sales. You really don’t have your finger on the pulse at all.

I’ve loved my Dell Streak 5 since ‘day 1′, last November. It has never let me down – but Dell have abandoned it.

This SGN will be a perfect replacement; when my contract runs out – and my cardboard mock-up of it fits all my pockets … jackets, trousers, even some of my shirt pockets – so I’ve dubbed it a POCKETABLE.

All I will need is a good leather wallet for it and I’m ‘rollin.

Well done Samsung … and I recommend you forget the ‘ladies will prefer it’ nonsense !!

Keep this phone away from the women. They wouldn’t know what do with it. If you want to make a phone specifically for women. Make the screen turn into a mirror and instead of a stylis, put in some lippy.

Yeah… good luck with that. Most of the gals I know want small phones. When I moved to a 4″ screen my wife downgraded to a 3.5″ on the iPhone 4, she doesn’t want anything larger.
