Don’t be so sure. The info I’ve seen tonight on the net says that that the stores are getting it in but that they are under orders not to sell it until Verizon gives them the ok(which could be who knows when).

Yes it does! I can’t stand having a mobile phone over a year old. Mobile technology moves way too fast for 3 year commitments. You still be using an iPhone 3G if you signed a 3 years commitment! No way.

Picked up my Galaxy Nexus a couple hours ago from Virgin mobile. It’s fast, really fast. Surprisingly large yet comfortable in your pocket because of the subtle curve and ridiculously thin design. Nice, phone, can’t wait to see what ICS does for my Nexus S…

HSPA+ vs. LTE.

Unless you’re talking about an off-verizon launch, it won’t be. Also note that this version is 16GB, instead of the 32GB LTE version.

This seems about the same price as the UK phones were releasing at.

3 year commitment with qualified upgrades doesn’t sound too much worse than the 2 year commitment that most contracts are in the States. After all, since companies have aimed at reducing your goodies (unlimited data -> tiered is an example), the older contracts are generally better.
