G-Ro Intelligent luggage has off-road wheels and optional battery

Finding the right carry-on luggage isn't always an easy thing to do. Sometimes the bags are a bit too large and don't fit well into the overhead bins. Other times the bags don't have the features that make them user friendly. A new carry-on bag has turned up on Kickstarter called the G-Ro and it has all the features that frequent travelers will want.

The bag is sized perfectly for the airline carry on requirements. It also has a slew of features that make it more useful than a normal bag. It has an integrated tablet stand and the bottom is waterproof. The two wheels are much larger than normal casters and make it easy to pull the bag along on or off the beaten path.

The sides of the bag are made with impact resistant polymer panels. The front of the G-Ro has an easy access panel for carry-on liquids. Another exterior work compartment has room for a 15-inch laptop. An optional integrated battery inside has 23,000mAh of power and a pair of USB ports on top of the bag for charging your gadgets.

The pockets and soft portions of the bag are made from ballistic nylon. The G-Ro bag is on Kickstarter seeking $125,000 and has raised over $1.4 million with 23 days to go. A pledge of $279 or more will get you a G-Ro bag with shipping expected in August 2016.
