Fujitsu unveils new Lifebook, Esprimo, and Celsius proGREEN computers

Fujitsu has unveiled some new notebook computers today called the Lifebook E780 and the S710. Both of the new notebooks are in the Fujitsu proGREEN line. The proGREEN line of notebooks are optimized for energy saving features and longer battery life.

The new notebooks come with either a 14-inch screen or a 15.6-inch screen and are Energy Star 5.0 certified. Power saving features include LED backlit screens and an 87% efficient power adapter. The power saving features allow the S780 to run for up to 18 hours with two batteries installed.

Fujitsu is mum on hardware specs for the machines. The company also unveiled new Esprimo E9900 and P9900 computers with Core i5 vPro technology inside and green designs. A pair of proGREEN workstations has also been revealed called the Celsius W280 and the H700. The H700 gets NVIDIA graphics and both use Core i7 processors. Pricing and availability for the new models is unknown.
