From big boxes do small gadgets come, and Fujitsu’s U820 (aka U2010, aka U/B50N) UMPC certainly doesn’t disappoint on either of those counts.  The U820’s 5.6-inch WXGA 1280 x 800 touchscreen might not be ideal for everyone’s eyes, but the tech packed into such a small device surely has to earn Fujitsu some kudos.  jkkmobile has one of the first video unboxings we’ve seen so far.

It’s when you put it on top of a netbook like the ASUS Eee PC that you see just how small the U820 is.  Nonetheless, inside you’ll find a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU and either a 60GB HDD or 64GB SSD.

Other features include a 1.3-megapixel webcam, FM transmitter, fingerprint scanner and digital microphone.  As with previous versions, the U820 has a convertible touchscreen and as such can be used in slate mode.
