Now I don’t have to spend big bucks importing and unlocking their phone so I can use it outside of Japan, or beg annoying relatives to help with obtaining one.

If it’s really trying to aim for a SLR experience, please do not omit the shutter key. This has been annoying the crap out of me since manufacturer stop putting shutter keys on phones…..
