Fujitsu’s ST6012 Tablet PC, announced back in September, has been officially released. The ST6012 has a 1.40GHz Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9400 (3MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB) processor with a 12.1-inch WXGA active-digitizer touchscreen, wireless USB and an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera on the back of the unit.
Connectivity includes WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, gigabit ethernet and optional UMTS/HSPA. There’s also a fingerprint scanner and smartcard slot for security. RAM is either 1GB or 2GB, maxing out at 4GB, while the standard 80GB hard-drive can be replaced with anything up to a 320GB 7,200rpm drive or a 64GB SSD.
Having no keyboard, the slate weighs 1.6kg and measures 325 x 220 x 23.8-31.7mm. The Fujitsu Stylistic ST6012 Tablet PC is available to order now, priced between $1,999 and $2,579 depending on specification.
