Not to be outdone by Western Digital and Toshiba, Fujitsu announced its latest 2.5” SATA harddrives that sport up to 320GB of storage. The MHZ2 BH series spins at 5400RPM and uses SATA2 interface. It is available in capacity of 40GB, 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, 200GB, 250GB and 320GB. According to Fujitsu’s press release, the drives consume only 1.9 watts during its read and write state and 0.6 watts during its idle state. The drives will be available for retail in February of 2008. No pricing information was released by Fujitsu at this moment.
