Projected price is $200 too high given the relatively low resolution displays (norm for 2011 models by everyone is going with higher resolution for top-of-the-line 2012 models) and relative low internal storage. The projected price is more than than estimated for a better spec'ed iPad 3, so this Fijitsu tablet will be dead in the water.

Definitely too expensive.
One thing I will say is that I've used many Fujitsu laptops over the years (I don't live in the US) and their finishing (Assembled in Japan models, at least) is great, often peerless. Only the old IBM Thinkpads, higher-end Lenovo Thinkpads and PowerPC era Mac Powerbooks can rival then.

Still, this is too highly priced to be competitive, especially against something like the Transformer Prime. The screen resolution also seems too low for a current-gen 10.1" tablet. Another problem is that Fujitsu (and most Japanese slates in general) don't have much traction within the modding community, so people might not have an easy road to rooting and flashing the things.
