The new LifeBook is on its way (February) and some of its finer details have been confirmed. I know the MacBook Air is the light of everyone’s eye at the moment but I think the P8010 deserves a little recognition.

First up, it only weighs 2.69lbs, that only is heaven to me as my laptop seems to weigh a ton. It has three USB ports, wi-fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth… you know, the basics. There’s an 80+GB hard drive, 4GB RAM but sadly comes with Vista. It’s 13.3” and has a SL7100 VL processor.

Like I said, it comes out in just a few weeks, though I don’t know about pricing at the moment. It doesn’t sound half bad to me but other than the weight I wouldn’t trade mine in for it.

This is the ugliest piece of junk I have ever seen.

No, no, no. You’re not supposed to be looking in the mirror you moron. Look at the Laptop.
I just ordered one online myself after seeing one in a store. Part of my decision was how good it looked to me but beauty, they say, is in the eyes of the beholder. The rest of my decision was the feature set and form factor. A little thicker than a Macbook Air, but a good deal smaller on every other dimension and does not sacrifice one iota of features.
I can’t wait until it comes.
