Fujitsu HandyDrive sports 500GB of storage

Fujitsu unveiled its latest 2.5-inch external drive that packs half terabyte storage capacity. The HandyDrive itself uses a single drive configuration and measures 141 x 82 x 22mm. Like many other 2.5-inch external drive, it is powered using USB only.

The 500GB and 400GB version of HandyDrive spins at 4200RPM while the 320GB, 250GB, and 160GB models spins faster at 5400RPM. All models come with a 8MB read/write buffer and have maximum data transfer rate of 60MB/s.

The 160GB, 250GB, 320GB and 400GB models are available now and priced from $124 to $284. As for the 500GB version, it will be available late July for $362.
