I’m not one that talks on my phone in the pool or hot tub. Generally, I try to leave my phone as far away from those places as I can. However, having a phone that can withstand some time under water might not be such a bad thing to have.

Fujitsu has released the slim F704i that can stand to be under a few feet of water for up to a half hour. I would hope that in that time you’d realize that the phone is sitting at the bottom of the pool and fetch it out.
The phone measures only 1.8cm thick and features a music player, microSD card slot, 1.3MP camera and 3G connectivity. The “bath massage program” that is built into the phone might explain why one might keep it under the water that long. Just remember that when you’re done “massaging” with the phone you have to talk on it.

Umm…yeah, sure dude.
Anyway, 1/2 hr is huge…especially for folks who work or play in areas that require them to be on the water alot – I know a few fisherman who have killed their phones by answering a call while on the water
