Frinkiac pairs Simpsons quotes with the appropriate still shots

Do you ever think of the perfect quote from a TV show or movie, and want to send your friends the corresponding image, to further drive home what you're saying? This is a common problem for me, as my friends and I often make various pop culture references when chatting. Well, if you happen to quote The Simpsons a lot, then today is your lucky day.

When three creative minds couldn't stop quoting a show and searching for the related stills, they eventually had no choice but to make their own search engine to help them out. Friends Sean Schulte, Paul Kehrer, and Allie Young had kicked around the idea of such a tool for a long time, but six months ago they set out to build it.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication to the show, Frinkiac was born. If you head over to Frinkiac, you can type in virtually any quote from the first 15 seasons of the Simpsons, and find a bunch of stills from around the moment it was said during the show. You can even add the quote to the image, complete with the appropriate Simpsons font. There are more than three million stills from the show that you can search through.

The tool isn't perfect, and the team behind it are aware. They're working on adding in the ability to share the images easily on social media, and figuring out a way to search for individual characters and scenes.
