We see a lot of third-party gaming controllers, mice and keyboards that promise to give you an edge during those brutal FPS sessions. However, this is the first time I’ve seen an accessory that actually attaches to a controller to improve performance.

FPS Freek

The FPS Freek snaps onto the analog sticks of your gaming controller. By extending the height of the sticks, it is supposed to make it easier to them by giving you more leverage, and make your movements more precise.

I’ve never really thought much about the analog sticks on any of my controllers. I use them and all, I just never thought that they were something that needed improved upon. I might try out a pair just to see if they really do make a difference. After all, it’s only $10 a pair. Unfortunately we’re not entirely sure when they will become available.

Looks cool. Do they only work with Xbox 360 controllers or do you think they will work with PS3 controllers as well?

Nothing more than a crutch for a poor excuse of a pointing device.
