Foxconn unveils sexy Bamboo One and Bamboo II cases

Bamboo is one of the materials that many businesses in all sorts of categories are turning to because it grows fast and is strong. Bamboo has become a more and more common material to cover computer cases and notebooks with as well. Foxconn has unveiled a couple new computer cases that are covered in Bamboo.

The first case is a mid-tower from the looks of it and is called the Bamboo One. The front cover that would normally be plastic is made from the bamboo wood. The wood is stained a darker color and it looks really good. I would have liked to see them cut the front drive bay covers out of one bamboo piece so the grain and color matched. The side vent cover is even bamboo.

Foxconn also has a bamboo chassis for those looking to build a HTPC system called the Bamboo II TMX-355 The smaller chassis has a bamboo front cover, that is cut from one piece so the grain and color matches. Foxconn says that the cases sold out quickly the first time they were offered, and I can see why. I wonder if these will ever come to the US.
