Foxconn rocked with another suicide jumper

It has been a while since there were any reports of suicides or other drama coming from Foxconn. You might recall that to prevent workers from jumping to their death from the roof of Foxconn buildings, the company strung nets to catch any jumpers.

Foxconn has now confirmed that a female worker that had been with the company since March has attempted to commit suicide by jumping from the building. The woman who jumped was 22 and worked in the factory placing plastic spacers in boxes.

The woman was only identified as Miss Liu. She was caught by the safety nets strung between buildings and at first thought to only be slightly injured in the fall. As it turns out the injuries were more serious and Miss Lui later died from her injuries.
