Touch is best for browsing through a lot of data on a large display. When you need it, you have a great touch display in your pocket. We believe your watch should things that your phone can’t do, in this case a vibrating alert you can’t miss, sunlight readability (digital display) and hands-free, glancable information. There are buttons if you need to act on a notification or start a remote action, but they are not required for the main use case.
