I am going to be O SO PISSED if Vonage goes away. I dont want to deal with more VOIP crap (and most are btw). Really not happy about this. I don't want to have to go through picking yet another VOIP provider. I also heard from a source that P8 will be purchasing another VOIP company (Sun Rocket). There is no way I will go back to VOIP with my ISP Company, they were just as bad as Sun Rocket, if not worse. *sigh*

It's been tough for the VOIP market, you know what, if vonage keep losing money in legal trouble, it will definitely put them in red in a very very short time.

VOIP was a startup biz everyone wants to get in in earlier days, but no one really thinks about legal dispute until it hits them.

best bet is cell phones for now :p

I have a security system at home, and that requires a land line. If it wasn't for that, I would entirely get rid of the home phone and only use cell phones. A lot of people I know are doing that now a days.

Actually comcast gives voip, internet and tv for a low price. And if they did get sued i don't think they would die. Also why use that stuff when you can call from your computer now a days lol

Many things still need lane lines but as voip replaces more and more the land lines will be replaced but that won't happen til we get rid of dsl and such lol

I heard Comcast wasn't all that great of a service though my Aunt told me they like changed her email address without even telling her as I guess they changed the ending domains.
