I blogged abit about issues we have when it can help someone else out. These are some snip-its from my blog, dates included.
December 1st, 2005
Most of our problems are that we can not receive incoming calls (the rep told us that she can not grant credit for something when we can still use the outbound side of the calls), is she crazy? My son lives in Tempe AZ and if there was an ER and his father had to call me, he wouldn't get thru. I would just love to let them have a voip line in their house if an ER and no one could call, I'm sure they wouldn't feel too good after that. Random times we have no incoming and just dead air on the line.
Today, we have no service, whenever I received a call it was on the new Charter line, and when I called out the same deal.
The sup is now trying to battle husband about when or if we will receive any credit for all the problems we have had. These people are insane to think that someone will not report this, do they even read their own TOS agreement? They must be stupid, I don't even think that these people have an IQ of 10, with the combine company gathered.
I don't think that Sunrocket using crappy service or their own equipment qualifies as the following from their TOS:
Events Beyond Our Control. SunRocket will not be responsible to you for any delay, failure in performance, loss, or damage due to fire, explosion, power blackout, earthquake, volcanic action, flood, the weather elements, strike, embargo, labor disputes, civil or military authority, war, acts of God, acts or omissions of carriers or suppliers, acts of regulatory or governmental agencies, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
I will guess we have been paying for this crap service for almost a year now, and during that time, received about 20% of our normal incoming calls, also during this time we have been able to use our phone (from the dead air issue) about 30% of the time. And we only (back in the mid Aug. when they said we got a credit, which we never did) so we have a floating credit of a month and 1/2, how is this good service?

We still have part of their service. Right now we have two phone lines coming in, sunrocket (voip) and Charter (normal landline), yet for the past week we are receiving calls randomly from people going 'You just called me'. This has happened most of the time during the early morning, when I am sleeping and when my husband is not here, so unless the cats are calling...
Now its afternoon and I have gotten two calls, from two random people. I explained the problem to the first person (a guy) who's response was 'its all good girl', yea be nice, but not that nice, weirdo. And a woman just afew moments ago, whom while trying to explain what a voip line is, then what has been going on for a week, and she just acts all shocked like maybe I was bored and pranked her, cuz you know thats what I do in my 'getting older stage of life'. I'm *that* bored that I randomly call people and before they even pick up the phone I hang up, BUT I'm not smart enough to block my own number. Seriously. So in the end, she kinda understood, but was still really confused. She was all 'What is a sun rocket'............I really haven't been feeling too good today, so I wanted to reply with 'its a rocket that shoots to the big bright orangey/yellow ball in the sky and it needs my phone to call your house before liftoff', but maybe I will save that one for another time.

So we had a credit, we paid a bill, they overcharged us. We called today to explain how we are receiving calls from other people in the area saying we called them and we didn't, so at first the woman just started to treat my husband like he was a moron and didn't know what he was talking about. I really wish I had called, I could remind her of all the names the people whom are annoyed since our phone line is magically calling them, when they call back, their cursing like a sailor.
I watched as he told her: We are receiving calls b/c they say our phone line is calling them and we are not (our issue this time) His name, our address and phone number THIS WAS REPEATED FOUR TIMES!!
So now on hold to figure out why with paying 15USD (after credit from this time) was applied, we were over charged 60USD. Can they not count?
So we learn their billing software is retarded, and ffffed up peoples accounts. Roughly, doubling everyones payments, and so we get screwed in the process of their issues screwing up everyones bank accounts. And then they just decided to continue to bill their customer incorrect payments, without notifying their customers. Now we are canceling finally, the reason we kept it? We are known for that phone #, besides being optimistic they would fix their crap, now after 9 months of crappy service, this is how its broken down.
9 months of service @ 24.95 per month = 244.55USD Two service credits issues/lost then applied of 12.50 USD & 24.95USD Which leaves 187.10USD to be paid for 9 months, correct? But they actually took out quite abit more. Seriously - idiots.
