Hmm, well the problem with FiOs is still... MB vs Mb When buying server connections/home connections this is the key difference we must keep in mind!! Many of us are fooled by "45Mbps" hey I can DL at 45M/s... AND UPLOAD AT 3M/s No you can't You can download at 5.625M/s and upload at 0.375M/s on a good day, making it not even IDEAL for servers... 375K/s is absolute crap, thats not even maxing out my BW. (I only really get 800KBs download) This is not because they are oversold (most likely are) or oversubscribed (that too) or overused (could very well be this) For those of you who don't know, it's because its 45 MEGABITS... not 45 MEGABYTES! There is a key difference between the 2. Megabits = 1/8 of a megabyte (8 bits in a byte ) Megabyte = 8/8 of a megabyte (8 bits, this is the byte...) Meh, just some bullcrap we have to dealwith on a daily basis Edited by: justin
