Hi Everyone,
I am a aging geek (read "old") that resides in northern Arizona. I somehow have acquired, undeserving so, the unenviable position of being the "techy goto guy" in my circle of friends and family, therefore I am forced to participate in forums like this where I learn important things from the truly intelligent.
Seriously though, just hanging out hoping to learn some stuff and contribute where I can.

Thanks guys. I used to live in the valley of the sun (Tempe) for 5 years but left in '92 to live up here in the mountains.
This forum seems to have small but good group of people, here's hoping the word gets around and there is a growth spurt in membership and participation.

Yea, our blog comments receive alot of activity but our forum growth is slowly going. Trying to speed it up though, feel free to let any of your friends know about us if you want.
By the way is that your dog in your avatar?
