It's finally here, the new thin flip phone.]

Man I'd love to test this phone out, I think they're saying its the thinnest flip phone in America, but this thing is a beast when it comes to performance it seems like....

3 Mega Pixel camera....video camera, with night vision...and a built in photo studio..

Ultimate messaging Inbox JUST LIKE the Oceans.

HTML Browsers, and RSS feed....I'm pretty sure this is a good step above the Oceans (though Ocean allows HTML Surfing)

100MB Internal memory, with microSD support

bluetooth, GPS, phone activated dialing, Media Player 3G.....its got all the works.

you should be

you know how sometimes a device/service/game gets so hyped up, and then by the time it gets here its a major let down from what you expected?

yeah, i can tell you for sure that's not the case, and the Fin got a lot of hype.

i have yet to stop just looking at the thing, i feel bad when i put it in my pocket, so i take it out and play with it, even when driving, i just have not been able to put it down yet.

i'd say i didnt like it, but i'd be lying, a lot.

i love it.

P.S. you should go get one.

nah I'm good, I am beyond pleased with my helio ocean when it came out, I waited so long I'd feel like a bad father or something if i got a new phone over it. I'd hate texting and web browsing without the QWERTY keyboard though, but that Fin is a beast man. Only flip phone i'd ever get.....The helio ocean got so much hype I was afraid of what you mentioned, but i was not disappointed in anyway. Maybe i'll get to test a new helio phone...punk =]

Reminds me somewhat of the RZR

well sure, in the sense that the razr was the first to go anywhere near this thin, but at the same time, the Helio Fin is nothing like the Razr, if you look at my pics in the review, you can see that the Fin is thinner, albeit marginally, but that margin is widened considerably when you look at the length.

and the features on the Helio fin not only exceed those of the Razr, but, dare i say, the Razr 2 and for a considerably cheaper price too. they are rumored to be releasing the Razr2 for $249.99 with a two year contract. The Helio Fin is not only, in my opinion, a better phone, but the Helio service that comes with it is far superior to that of any service provider getting the Razr2, and the Fin is cheaper too.

now my opinions about the Razr2 may be a bit hasty but there are some people who have already received review units of the device and listed the specs and played with it and they seem to be less than overwhelmed too.

Saw the commercial for it and am really interested. The sleek design, think body makes it a must have phone for businessmen and people who cant keep a bulky phone in their pocket.
