Im getting a mac book, what exactly is the difference between the generation of macbooks with the intel processors?

the new macbook uses penryn CPU, which is 45nm. Faster, cooler, quiter

I need to get a MacBook for school I'll probably only get the regular Macbook the $1000 just because once I get done using it for school I'll probably just sell it and get a better one.
As all I'll use it for is for school.

You can go for refurbish if you want to save more money, I have pretty good experience with Apple\'s refurb products
