Well I'm officially a Vista user, now that I actually use it full time (for the most part seeing all my docs and such are on my XP) you begin to get used to it and it wasn't as bad as when you first got it.

What I don't understand though is that they offer all the theme settings of older windows versions except XP. I have no clue what they have against XP that they won't allow you to change it to that blue version.

Yea, I know I still like XP but I like Vista for the change. I think me getting another HP has defintely helped with the change I love HP. I wouldn't go with any other Windows Distrubtor than HP.

They defintely made the move very easy, of course there are many flaws in Vista but really I like the change its different and without the long period of playing with it I wouldn't feel the same way.

As our first Vista computer we purchased wasn't mine and upon first look and try I was like "Thank God I still have my XP" but after you own it and cna play with it I guess it changed my views. But HP defintely made the move easier for me and helped alot (as usual). I have always used HP so that may be why I'm so happy but I cannot go wrong with HP.

Vista you have to get used to, I have it on a new laptop and it's ok, at first I hate it. I still prefer XP any day though, but Vista is fine.

Yea, I feel the same way as Mo.

With just a little time Vista will be the old XP. It just takes getting used to.

If I do remember right you can shut it off, but it is just so that it makes it harder for Spyware and such to install.

By the way has anyone heard of any news when Vista SP1 will be released?

Also I wonder how come Windows decided to drop the vista logo on the loading screen while loading the OS. Usually it shows the OS running on the system. I just thought it was wierd they decided to drop this in the Vista version and just show the loading bar and their copyright trademark.
