Which one do you prefer to use, UMPC or Tablet PC?

What exactly is a UMPC? I haven't heard of one, but Tablets are pretty cool.

Oh, I like Tablet. I've seen these before but didn't know they called them that. Thanks for that link Ewdi. I guess I prefer a laptop feel as I wouldn't need it to be all that portable. But it is pretty cool.

personally, if i had to choose between the two, i would probably go with the UMPC

generally the processors are equally weak, so the savings in size, battery life, and weight of a UMPC would be great, plus most of them act as phones as well.

I definitely think that a UMPC would be better for me. I need something that can pull an internet connection almost anywhere.

I used a tablet (XP basd) for about a year.. interesting toy... painful as a day to day. UMPC lacks on battery technology right now IMO. hard pressed to give up my simple blackberry and toss in patience to view online content when i'm back to a real computer....

I have a tablet, and so far I think I prefer a tablet. I like having the tablet functions, but yet having the full power of a full laptop. I get about 3 hours of battery life, and that's while doing stuff. I get about 5 if it's just sitting there.
