Didn't you look at my other rig? 3 monitors. I don't use 2... 3 for the win. This is just for another room in my house. If I bought like 3, that would be intense. Sadly I can't afford it. lol

But boy.. if I could :D

when i go shopping for parts it depends on what i need, and how soon i need it

if its a basic peripheral or user-changeable item like RAM or HDD or a mouse or keyboard and i need it now, i hit up staples then wal-mart locally, if i dont need it now, i search the web for the best deal and order it from their

if its something more technical, there are a couple local PC repair shops that actually keep a pretty good inventory of stuff like processors, motherboards, etc so i go to them, and they are nice people too.

just shopping around though, i frequently check Tiger Direct and newegg online and best buy and circuit city whenever i am in lafayette.

I always get my parts from newegg, but I'll also get my parts in other places too. I do a little computer work on the side, and I have a business/retail license, so I'm able to get in with some of the distributors. So sometimes I'll order through them, but they are not always the best on price unless you order in bulk. For single items, newegg rocks, but for orders in bulk items, then the distributors.
