Hey everybody,

I'm a new member to the helio community and something came to mind. I've noticed new cell phone commercials from all the carrier's i.e.: Verizon, Sprint, and even AT & T. All of these carriers copied the iphone in some way shape or forum. My question is WILL PANTECH COME OUT WITH A PDA SMART PHONE LIKE THE "OCEAN" BUT A NEW IMPROVED VERSION WITH THE TOUCH TECHNOLOGY? IF so please sign me up....!!!!! If there are any Helio Tech's / VIP's / Managers here in the forum please think about this idea. The only recommendation I would have would be keep the keyboard we love that feature..

I don't see it coming out for now so far?, but who knows. so far PDA smart phones dont seem to be for the helio customers....tho dont get me wrong with all the 3rd party installs I got for my Ocean i feel like its a smart phone. Ocean2 will be nice, but i don't think they will have touch screen, but maybe they'll eventually have a touch screen. I just don't know about a PDA smart phone.

I had no idea that we could add 3 party applications to the ocean... Can you please tell me what website can I go to in order to see what I may want my ocean to have...?

Mo, what do you think the Ocean2 would include besides the touch screen? I'm not very sure seeing it tends to have a TON already.

Ocean2 could have quite a bit, maybe a more roomier keyboard thought I don't think people should complain much about the size. more firmware updates im sure, to keep it less laggy and smoother than the first one.

people want alot, but they love being able to pull 3rd party apps into it, so I think small things come into play. We cant customize our mp3's into ringtones. we have to create our own which is kind of dumb. You cant pick anything different (like ringtones) for your text alerts/voicemail alerts/alarm clock. So I think it will be a variety of things for Helio to decide from on what they want to add...who knows what they will decide to throw in and leave out.

I think there isn't much they can do but of course there is always something that can be come up with on almost any phone. Because every phone can be improved whether it be for good or bad, it just depends.
