Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up and let you know that Abby McVay and I will be attending Gen Con Indy 2007 on August 16-19. If any of you guys are going to be there, we'd love to meet up and chat. Just drop me a line with which day(s) you'll be attending, and we'll find some time to get together. Hope to see you there!

I was never a gentoo fan, but seriously what is Gen Con?
Sega genesis con? Genesis con? Religous disccusion?
I'm guessing its tech related... so what is it?

actually lanageddon or whatever, is quite the opposite idea of Gen Con
up until this year (and primarily because of the loss of a major gaming convention) Gen Con was a gaming competition/show that was all about NON electronic games (magic, warhammer, D&D, etc.)
they actually didnt add electronic games until this year

Yea, it's a gaming convention. Like James noted, this is the first year that they've decided to add electronic gaming to their exhibits. They announced this shortly after E3 decided to scale back their show, a coincidence I'm sure.
