That guy was just like the people I mentioned

They come, they post once (and sometimes it's not even a meaningful post, like the one he posted) and they leave. never to be seen again.

But I guess if they are a loyal member of SlashGear Blog and didn't happen to just fall upon the contest then it should be fine.

I apology in advance for the cause of the silly quarrel. I am a regular reader but barely post anything till i saw this post-to-win contest. Having post/read 5 different forums daily, i avoid emotionally involve in blog style review like this. I just can't keep up with the fast phase. But that doesn't make me a bad reader. After all, i am still a loyal slash-gearer just not an active poster.

Having a new member status doesn't disqualify you from participate in a contest or any different in wining probability. If the prize goes to an veteran, we'll still have something to rant on the authority. Same wise, situation like this doesn't make it any different.

To be honest, i don't think i stood a chance but there was only one entry before me for the whole week and 3 posters for the whole drawing. Guys, I posted and i won..As simple as that. May be Slashgear wants to be fair and promote 'you-can-do-it-too' for every participants. Why don't we all try it out next time and stop pointing finger.

I understand, and I figured that would be a very high possiblity without you just stumbling upon it.

The winner has still not been announced. It's saturday, they were supposed to announce it on monday...

Same thing with the one before. (that contest has been over for ages, I havent seen any winner!)
