I saw this tip somewhere and thought I'd give it a try.
Defrag your memory card to improve file access time and improve performance.
I never really thought about it but makes sense, you have 4 or 8 gigs of data sprayed all over
a MicroSd card, it really does help when you defrag it. Its just another drive after all.

I read somewhere on hardforum that it actually could help the age tear down of a flash component if it defraged.
