I have one, and while it may seem a bit useless to many, it actually comes in handy for when your working on the PC late at night and just need a small light.

It's not going to replace your normal lamp but it will do. Also if your in a place where there's no light, the lamp is powered via the USB drive, so you can just plug it into your laptop and you'll have light! So need to worry about carrying a light source around if you got this device and a charged laptop.

Well if you have a laptop like macbook pro with luminating keyboard you wont need this lamp, many laptops out there starting to have this feat

While that's true, older laptops tend to lack that feature. Therefore I still think it might be handy to have. Plus the light might be useful for other things, not just seeing the keyboard. The luminated keyboard will only help you see the keys, not the surroundings. So if you wanted to see what happened to the pen that you placed next to your laptop, that's where the USB lamp would come into good use.
