Charter is evil and I really don't like them, but they do offer 10/1 for like 60 bucks a month. Soon they should be popping up to 16mb, but who knows when that will be or how much it will cost for residential. My husbands work uses them for a fiber line that is like 30mg I think, then again that is about 3k/month too.
Who do you use and has anyone found a ISP yet with GOOD customer service reps?

Actually Earthlink I <3 because of there support and all. We would of never transferred from them if they offered something higher than dial-up in our area. But they are always helping you whatever you can I had a problem with my computer one time and they were able to help me. Plus they aren't so stingy with crediting your account like we had been with them for like 6 years a few months before we decided to cancel. So I told them can we get a credit for being a member so long and they credited us like a couple months. They are really nice, I met someone in the management team who helped out alot too.

I'd love to get a nice ISP where I live. I get 5mbps down and 512kbps up, and I really want to get a faster internet for hosting purposes, but the fastest thing they have is a T1, and that's only 1.54mbps, and that's not fast enough for me. I wish the ISP would offer better, but I reckon I can't force them to offer more...

Is that 10MBps or 10 Mbps? Also, what is your upstream?
