I have Sync and I hate it. It is tedious to use, it is much easier to poke the screen than it is to give it verbal commands. Most commands are embedded two or three layers deep, for example: If you want to get gas prices first you must ask the screen to get TravelLink and then ask for Gas Prices. Why can't you just ask for Gas Prices???? The same for all the other features. Another hassle is hanging up after a call. So your finished with your call and you press the "hang up' button on the steering wheel, nope, then you must push the call/finish button on the screen, sometimes twice. Getting directions while your driving??? Nope, you have to stop your call and put the transmission in park, with the engine off. This is typical Microsoft software logic, crappy, poorly conceived and poorly executed. Apple should of done the software, at least it would work. Oh, and you can't receive text messages on the screen with most droids and the iPhone. Welcome to Microsoft. Oh, and why do they put a disc drive in the dash that can only be used to download your CD's music on it? I don't know why either.

I am not so sure I would want a Microsoft operating system running part of my car. Microsoft tends to release unfinished software with the intent of fixing problems/patching it later. How stable is Sync? I would always wonder.
