I’m reminded of a flying fairy doll my little sister had as a child every time I look at the Flying Stick Cam. The idea behind is moderately cool but the design falls completely flat, in my opinion.

The Flying Stick Cam works off kinetic energy which it stores after you rub it between your palms. Using its stored energy it will fly into the air, snap off some pictures and rotate back to the ground. It comes with face detection so you or your target will always be in focus.

I’m concerned about how sturdy it is; if it should be hit while in the air (maybe by a bird or a Frisbee) would it come tumbling back to the ground to meet its demise? There’s no word on pricing or the camera’s resolution.
