Flybook V5i ultraportable Tablet PC video review

In case you're confused, the guy in this photo seemingly about to embrace a Flybook V5i Tablet PC is Rob Bushway, and rather than kiss it he's actually video reviewing it.  Though from the sound of it, he can't quite decide whether the V5i deserves a damn good tonguing or a bit of a cuff round the ear.

The V5i, it turns out, is most definitely a tale of two machines.  On the one hand you've got an excellent ultraportable, with a Core 2 Duo processor running at a plentiful but power-sipping 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and such luxuries as built-in HSDPA cellular broadband support.  On the other, however, there's a convertible tablet with no hardware buttons on the screen bezel and no palm-rejection – that means you'll have to keep your hand from resting on the screen unless you want the cursor (and your writing) to go haywire.

So for $2,769, can Rob recommend the Flybook?  You'll have to watch the review to find out.
