This flower pot has a rounded bottom and a counterweight in part of the bottom that will slowly cause the pot to tip over as the water supply is depleted. The best part is that you’ll be able to adjust how much water is required to level the plant out so you can keep from drowning your plant but also keep it sufficiently watered.

It appears to just be a design for now but its very cool. Sure it has nothing to do with electronics, but I figured this solution for those poorly organized green thumbs was better than the flower pot that will call you when things get low.

If you want one, well, you could attempt to make it yourself, which it doesn’t look like it would be that hard, as long as you have access to large amounts of pottery clay and a kiln and some substance dense enough to tilt the pot, but not so dense that it tilts the pot even when there is water in there. Anyways, it’s a cool idea and might some day make it to production.
