Flickr released a new update today to their mobile website, and apparently users can now access and watch Flickr videos on their mobile phones. Even though Flickr videos were added back in April, it is only just now that you can watch them from your mobile devices.

What’s interesting, is that users were able to actually upload videos from their cell phones to Flickr, but couldn’t play them back. Prior to today, only a few iPhone users had access to this feature, but now all iPhone users and iPod Touch users can watch them. Other handset support is on the way, according to Flickr.

In fact, any browser that operates off of Webkit will soon have the mobile Flickr video-watching feature. Along with this upgrade, users may also notice an improved interface and the mobile app now allows users the ability to favorite images and add contacts.
