That pretty much sums it up. With a growing Mac market share the “Security software companies” will try to monetize on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised it they are working on viruses themselves.
I’m a Mac user since 97 and have NEVER had any malware or viruses on my Mac. Hopefully it will stay that way.
