If you’re on the lookout for ways to make your home more eco-friendly, this washer is a nice convenient way to do it. It doesn’t cause you to do any extra work than you normally would, but still uses less water and energy.

eco friendly washer

The washer from Fisher & Paykels mimics hand washing. The washer uses sensors to monitor the clothing movement and will adjust how it is washing and the water level. It will adjust the agitator to give more gentle or more intense movements. That way getting the clothes cleaner while using less water and energy. It actually only fills up enough to saturate the clothing.

You can also have it run on an allergy cycle, which is a highly concentrated wash that will kill dust mites. The machine has no mechanical brake, pulleys or gears, giving it fewer moving parts. For those that want to go the extra mile, you can also reuse your wash and rinse water for a second load.
