First Wiis Head to Retail

The time for rejoicing is near! Well, I’ll rejoice at least; you guys can jump in if you want. If the occasion isn’t obvious, the first Wii units have been sent out to retailers for the console’s upcoming Sunday launch (what IS it with Nintendo and Sunday launches?). So, those of you lucky enough to have gotten a pre-order will be enjoying motion-sensing Zelda goodness, while the rest of us will have to settle for pretty Wii interface videos until the next shipment. No fears though; Nintendo is planning to ship 4 million little white Wiis between now and the end of the year, so if you don’t have a pre-order, you’re still in the running. Now all Nintendo has to do is put out Super Mario Galaxy…
