First off, everyone thinks that the 360 is cheaper and more affordable than the ps3, but here’s the thing, the ps3 has a built in blue ray player and the 80g rite now is about $499 w/ game. 360 however is $399 20g w/ 2 games, but say you want to add the HDDVD player?! which is about $199 at retail stores. so when you add that up, ur actually paying more for the 360($600) than the PS3($500) !! and we all know the ps3 is the next-gen system already ahead of its game, its just not at its potential yet. I’m pretty sure that hddvd won’t last long once blue ray prices drop. also, the wii is only dominating in sales because its the cheapest of the 3 consoles($250)! plus its easy to modify and burn games since its still dvd format.

luk i got a 360 n wii n ps3 cause i cudnt decide witch was better but to say ps3 aint been out long i think its the better consol graphics r better and now more games are cumin out it ill prove its worth next year

I own both, X-box 360 is cool and I must admit I find plenty of games for it, just the heating problems suck a bit (had to send it to Microsoft after a few months to be swapped). The PS3 is amazing and with the new titles that are constantly coming out I see it will be a winner soon enough. Games like Heavenly sword & Assassin’s creed make the 1st time buyer go for a PS3 in my opinion.

Anyone who thinks the 360 is better than ps3 is a moron…not to mention they probably own a 360 and not aps3…..b c if u did ….u would never….EVERRRRR say anything bad about it….anyone that owns a ps3 is so happy with it… all the games, and the potential of that system……who knows whats next for SONY…..THE BEST GAMING COMPANY IN THE WORLD…..sixaxis…..the same controllers from the start…..just upgraded from no analog, to analog, and then sixaxis….and Folding@Home…and all this stuff….get ur mind right….PS3 is too nuts….besides the early release of the 360

Well the only thing that I can see (as the updates are making the ps3 way better) is that the xbox 360 has a graphics card that is better then the ps3, but by not even by like 2 FPS in a game that is the same on both (i.e. fight night, cod 3, etc…) but the processor makes up for that for the most part. BUT the best thing about the PS3 is that you can help contribute with folding@home. Anyways, I got a PS3 because I got a bargain (60gb) for $200 USD BRAND NEW!

Some may say you get more bang for your buck with 360 but let’s compare.

In Canada a 360 costs roughly 100 dollars less than a ps3. And now with Sony announcing price drops due to cheaper manufacturing costs, that gap becomes narrower.

Upgrades you need to purchase to make your 360 anything close to the PS3 at stock:

- HD-DVD Drive (umcomprehendable why Microsoft would not include this, limits how much detail 360 games can go into [9.5GB isn't nearly enough space to have great cutscenes, detailed gameplay, and lengthy gameplay.]) ~$120.00

- Play & Charge Kit ~$30.00

- At least a 6 year supply of Xbox Live Fees (roughly how long you will have this system before upgrading to the next gen systems) ~$500.00

- Wireless Network Adaptor ~150.00

These are the basic products you would need to bring the 360 around the same value of the PS3.

We have:

- Wifi
- Self-Charging Controllers
- Blu-Ray Drive

*We may have had to deal with a slow start, but you must realize the 360 wasn’t perfect at launch. (ie. Overheating issues that are only solved now by mega ventilation or buying that ugly fan kit for your system.) 360 also launched a year ago. Come compare games in a year’s time.

Well i dunno what to get between PS3 or XBOX 360 but I am damn happy i got the Wii. It’s probably the best gaming console i ever bought, even a simple game like Wii sport i’ve been playing atleast twice a week since last year. The control is just so good!!! can’t wait for fight night to be released on the wii… muwhahhaha

PS3 is far from “the most powerful games machine on the planet”. It falls short of even Xbox 360 – just check the reviews of for example MetaCritic.com. PS3 games are constantly getting inferior reviews to XO versions of the same games.[/quote]

How can you say the ps3 is not the most powerful machine. How is the 360 better than ps3 except for price. The price is cheaper because it is cheaper to make. The games are better on the 360 because itss been out for more than a year. The 360′s games sucked when it was launched.

Well, everytime I goto any store, i always check to see how many wiis there are. Always zero. I also, just for kicks, check for playstation 3′s. Always more than zero. Of course, thats just me and thats in south west ohio.

YEAH 15 times more PRE-ORDERS. You forget that people can cancel there pre orders. And guess what allot of people did. the PS3 solde very poorly compared to the Wii. Shoot i don’t even need to give you a link to my sources just look it up on google.

In the future remember the difference between a SALE and a PRE ORDER.
