I have heard it may have 170 hp and 170 ft lbs of torque.

I had a 1967 Fiat 850 sports coupe with Abarth. It would eat up the GTO’s and 442′s in a gymkana (handling course). It was an absolute blast to drive. Whenever I spotted another Fiat 850, a very rare occurance back in the 60′s, horns would honk and lights would flash at each other. I LOVED MY FIAT 850 ABARTH. Oh yeah, I traded it in for a Chevy Vega station wagon after my second child was born in 1973.

It is 0.1s faster not 1s. The Elise S2 Top Gear tested only has 134ps.

I hope they don’t water it down for the US. We have a long history of not getting the cool sport compacts here.

Not bad for a cars that was a second faster than the elise while the stig was drving. Of course the elise is a mid engine ear drive, and is a very high tech car.
