Ferrari was on hand at the Mondial de l'Automobile 2014 in Paris and it unveiled one of the coolest convertible cars in the world. The car Ferrari pulled the wraps off is the 458 Speciale A and it is limited to only 499 units in the world. The A in the name of the car stands for Aperta.

The new 458 Speciale a can reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 3 seconds and has lots of aluminum alloy in its construction. Ferrari says that the retractable hardtop can be opened or closed in 14 seconds. The very first 458 Special A cars will wear Modena Yellow paint with a central stripe in Blu NART and Bianco Avus as an homage to Luigi Chinetti's American racing team from the 1960s that won many endurance races in Ferrari vehicles.

On the inside, the car has lots of carbon fiber in the dash trim, door panels, and the central tunnel. The carbon fiber in the central tunnel is done in blue exclusively in this car.
