Are 3G speeds just not cutting it on your laptop, do you yearn for something faster? Well it looks like you’ll be getting your wish soon.

The FCC has given WiMax provider Clearwire the go-ahead to release their first WiMax laptop card which is made by Motorola. So if you’re in one of the 37 metro markets covered by Clearwire, you might want to add this card to your wish list.
No word yet on pricing or when exactly it will be available. We do know that it will be shipping with drivers for both Windows XP and Vista.
