Fallout 4 update 1.3 detailed, available for PCs now

Bethesda has announced Fallout 4 update 1.3 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The update brings with it several updates, some of which are enhancements designed specifically for the PC. The update is available now for PC gamers through Steam, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One updates will be available some time later on this week.

New features include a new ambient occlusion setting (HBAO+) specifically for PC gamers, as well as a new weapon debris effect for PCs with NVIDIA graphics cards and better ESDF key remapping support for PC gamers in Workshop Mode.

As well, update version 1.3 adds a settlers status menu in settlements and rotation for objects being held (using the right and left triggers) where pushing the left thumbstick causes an axis switch. The specific release date for consoles wasn't stated.

While the update brings some new features, it brings far more bug fixes, correcting issues encountered with gameplay, quests, and workshops. Fixes include things like stability and memory improvements, subtitle update woes, and more specific things like having residents of Vault 81 dismember properly.
