A few days back I wrote up a usb hub that happened to have a task light attached, the usefulness of the light was a bit of a stretch. However, at least there was the hub so it was still a practical and useful item. Yet this string of fairy lights can only be described as shiny.

You can try to pretend the blue glow is soothing while you work, but in the end you just got sucked into buying a USB product purely for its shiny appeal. Alright, to be fair this silly string of lights does appeal to that childlike girly part of me.
Although they are called fairy lights, the little shapes are actually tiny blue stars. The string is 36” long and is being sold for $12.95.
